So, you’ve decided to go ahead with an Apprenticeship. Now, how exactly do you go about applying?

First, you’ll need an ATG Apprenticeships account. This is easy, just click ‘Register’ at the top of the ATG Apprenticeships website and fill in your details. To start with, we’ll only need your email address and a new password.

After you have an account with us, go the homepage (click ‘Home’). You can then browse the entire ATG Apprenticeships website for the Apprenticeship that suits you best. You can browse by categories, down the left side of the website, or by jumping directly to a specific Apprenticeship, using the dropdown at the top.

When you’ve found an Apprenticeship that you like the look of, make sure you read all the details about it. This is important! Reading all the information available about an Apprenticeship can really help you get to know what you’ll be doing if your application is successful.

Read all the details and happy to proceed? Look for the ‘Apply’ button alongside the Apprenticeship you’re after, and give it a click. This will start and guide you through the application process. To apply, you only need to supply:

  • a few details about yourself, such as name, address and contact details
  • a CV and cover letter
  • a short message regarding your application, if required

When you’ve supplied all this information, the staff at ATG Apprenticeships will review your application and pass on the details to the relevant company for their consideration. You will be contacted later if your application has been successful, and if so, you’ll also be asked in for an interview.

If your application is unsuccessful, you will be notified via email. Please note that you can always check the status of your applications by logging in to your ATG Apprenticeships account and visiting your account area.

And of course, if you have any problems at all, we’re just a phone call away – just give us a call on 0845 873 8440 or use the ‘Chat to an Advisor’ link on the right-hand side of the website to request a callback – we’ll be happy to talk you through your application.
