The Manufacturing Technicians, work in a variety of operational teams manufacturing radiopharmaceuticals from raw materials. All manufacturing operations must be performed in accordance with relevant MHRA and FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

 

Inter-departmental communication, teamwork and compliance to Environmental, Health & Safety policy and procedures are critical. The short lived radioactive products are manufactured within this highly compliant, just-in-time / Lean manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Process, assemble, dispense, assay and package of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established procedures.

  • Accurately complete and review batch records and related documentation.

  • Preparation and set-up of associated equipment and materials, i.e. autoclaves etc.

  • Comply with all applicable Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

  • Strict adherence to cGMP

  • Perform housekeeping area audits following GMP and EHS guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot basic equipment problems and communicate findings to Supervisor.

  • Trackwise –Assist and input into Investigation Reports (IR’s) and Change Controls

  • Ability to pass cleanroom gowning qualifications required for employees working in cleanrooms
