Cycle Mechanic Apprentice

Dutchman Bikes is a great way to learn while you earn. You will receive technical training, an experienced mentor, and a recognised qualification at the end. Any candidate must have an open mind and a genuine enthusiasm for bikes of all shapes and sizes. We work with city, cargo, family, and electric bikes, as well as private and commercial clients. Tasks in the shop will vary from building/repairing bikes, making deliveries, answering calls/emails, and running test rides with customers.

Training to be Provided

  • Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance & Installation - Cycles pathway
  • Cytech 2
  • Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Maintenance
  • Functional Skills in Maths English & IT if applicable
  • Employee Responsibilities and Rights
  • Personal Learning & Thinking Skills

Working weekly hours

Mon-Sat, closed Tues &Sun although working hours can be flexible, with a minimum of 30 and a maximum of 40 per week. We typically open at 09:30 and close around 18:00, but we would sit down together and work out which hours would be best for you and for us.

£105-140 pw
