Cycle Maintenance & Shop  Apprentice

The successful candidate, working under the sales & workshop managers, would be required to carry out all manner of day to day sales tasks to include sales of Bikes and accessories, stock control and contacting customers.   There would also be a need for them to be able to carry out basic repairs and new bike builds. 

Training to be Provided

  • Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Engineering Maintenance & Installation - Cycles pathway
  • Cytech 2
  • Level 2 Certificate in Cycle Maintenance
  • Functional Skills in Maths English & IT if applicable
  • Employee Responsibilities and Rights
  • Personal Learning & Thinking Skills

Working weekly hours

Minimum 30 hours, normally 4 week days per week, with occasional weekend cover

Weekly Wage

£from 105 pw

  • Passionate about bikes

  • No previous trade knowledge is require, although a current knowledge of all aspects of cycling would be beneficial

Qualifications Required

None, although basic GCSE’s will help not needing to do these areas as part of your NVQ -
