An Apprenticeship with CP Diesel (a company owned by Motor Parts Direct) is a great way to learn while you earn. You will receive technical training, an experienced mentor and a recognised qualification at the end.

Becoming an Apprentice Diesel Technician is an excellent opportunity for people with an interest in engineering to learn so much more in the world of common rail diesel, as well as becoming an excellent customer focused individual.

The role will include various duties, such as the following: (your duties will not be limited to this)

• Maintain good housekeeping practices

• Comply strictly with the company health and safety policy

• Carry out any relevant administrative tasks

• Ensure workmanship is to the required standard

• To assist in any production area / duty when required

• Ensure that the company’s procedures are followed

Training to be Provided

Intermediate Apprenticeship in Improving Operational Performance including:

• Level 2 NVQ in Performing Manufacturing Operations

• Level 2 Award in Industrial Environmental Awareness

• Level 1 Functional Maths, English and ICT (if applicable)

• Employment Responsibilities & Rights

• Personal Learning & Thinking Skills
