Vacancy Description

Norfolk House Consultants Ltd is seeking an Office Administrator for their office in Milton Keynes.

Key tasks and accountabilities:

  • Answering telephone calls
  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Filing and photocopying
  • Liaising with designers
  • Assisting with designing and producing marketing materials
  • Promoting the BITA exhibition by post and telephone
  • Preparing fabric samples for postage
  • Building contact databases
  • Other general administration tasks as required

There will be the opportunity to learn all aspects of the business.

Skills Required

  • Computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail and the Internet.
  • Communication skills – on the telephone, in writing and face to face.
  • Numeracy and literacy
  • Attention to detail.
  • General office experience, particularly customer service, would be ideal but is not essential.

Personal qualities:

  • Well presented, punctual and articulate.
  • Enthusiastic, motivated and keen to learn.
  • Responsible and trustworthy.

Qualifications Required

5 GCSE passes (A*- E grades) including Maths and English (or equivalent).
