  When considering what to do when you have finished your exams, enjoying the summer sunshine and holidays will be high on the list for many. But before packing your bags consideration needs to be made of the choices for your further education in September. Two educational routes are open, Academic and Vocational – University or Apprenticeship. Both are equally valid and both can lead to degree level qualifications. Apprenticeship Levels explained

There are three different Apprenticeship levels – Intermediate, Advanced and Higher. Choosing the right level of Apprenticeship for you is pretty easy. First, it’s important to understand what each of these qualifications means: Intermediate Apprenticeships are Level 2 qualifications, which are equivalent to GCSE. Advanced Apprenticeships are Level 3 qualifications, which are equivalent to A Levels. Higher Apprenticeships are Level 4 or 5, equivalent to a foundation degree, Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND) or degree.
